Lo Go-Xa Mat National Park
Lo Go-Xa Mat National Park contains the single largest forested area in Viet Nam’s Tay Ninh province, making up 26% of the province’s natural forest cover.
ReadThe park supports a relatively intact lowland ecosystem complex of evergreen forests, semi-deciduous forests, deciduous forests, riverine vegetation, and seasonal inundated grasslands.

Three species of Nepenthes, a genus of carnivorous pitcher plants, have been found in its forests. These are the Nepenthes geoffrayi, Nepenthes mirabilis, and the elusive Nepenthes thorelii.

The park has been designated as an Important Bird Area due to the presence of globally threatened birds and restricted-range species. Siamese fireback, and grey-faced tit babbler have been spotted in the forests. It also serves as a stopover for migratory birds.

Aside from birds, primates have also been recorded in the park. These include the pygmy loris and long-tailed macaque, both classified as endangered. Locals have also reportedly seen silver-haired monkeys and black-shanked douc.

The park is open for birdwatching, camping, and education and research activities.
