The common denominator in the work of this master leather craftsman from the Sierra de Grazalema is a constant search for the limits of the material. He revives traditional techniques, but also explores new ones, such as the oxidation of certain metals to obtain special colours.

Teixits Vicens was founded in 1854 in a small wool workshop on the island of Mallorca. Generation after generation developed the business, introducing ikat fabrics, an ancient technique that arrived in Mallorca via the Silk Road in the 16th century. Today, the fourth and fifth generations are working together.

Since its beginnings in the 18th century, Gordiola has been a benchmark in the production of mouth-blown glass, combining traditional Aragonese and Catalan techniques with Venetian influences. Throughout its history, the company has evolved, adapting to the trends of each era, but always maintaining its essence and quality.

Noroeste is bothered by what is superfluous. They prefer jewellery to contain the bare minimum. The Línea collection is a very characteristic example of this working philosophy. It was born around the concept of the line, simple or composed, straight or curved, but always reduced.

Finalist: "Mocasín Fuertes" by AldanondoyFdez
The Mocasín Fuertes by these two master shoemakers from Barcelona is a piece that responds to the search for a design that is as durable as possible and not subject to seasonality. With its convertible front, the shoe becomes an open sandal for the hottest times of the year.

Finalist: "Plantcloud", by Bas
Bas is a family project by mother and daughter Alicia and Xènia Bas that combines the know-how of artisanal ceramics with the precise lines of contemporary design. The Barcelona-based company was selected for its work "Plantcloud", a hanging pot specially designed for indoor use.
Entrepreneurship Award
This prize is awarded to an entrepreneur or a company (less than five years old) that has introduced an innovative concept in the craft sector.

Winner: Liken Skis
In a market as saturated as that of ski brands, Liken Skis, in La Pobla de Lillet (Barcelona), has carved out a small niche for itself in a market that values a different, personalised product, designed from scratch for each person, with a direct relationship between artisan and customer, without intermediaries.
Rígido (2021)EOI - Fundesarte
Finalist: Rígido
Created by Carla Barral and Javier González, Rígido was born in 2020 with the clear intention of showing that craftsmanship can be design, that craftsmanship can be fashion and, above all, that craftsmanship and local production are a necessary path in 21st century consumer habits.
Studio Variopinto (2021)EOI - Fundesarte
Finalist: Studio Variopinto
Variopinto is a creative studio founded by Minia Banet that mixes photography and contemporary embroidery, resulting in unique pieces of decoration and accessories. It was born in 2017 as a way of learning, preserving and modernising an ancient technique such as traditional embroidery.

This prize recognises private sector organizations that have contributed to the promotion and visibility of craft in a positive and respected environment.

International promotion of Iberian violin making (2021) by Escuela de VioleríaEOI - Fundesarte

In 2018, the Escuela de Violería of Zaragoza launched an international promotional campaign for Iberian violin making, in order to assert the cultural importance of the art of Violería, an artisanal manifestation that took place in the Iberian Peninsula between the 14th and 18th centuries and that has received little attention despite its enormous cultural and artistic importance.
