How Many Angels Can Dance of the Tip of a Pin?
Held in the church of San Martín (Arévalo) and curated by José Esparza Chong Cuy, this is Sánchez-Kane's first solo exhibition in Spain.
Religion and fashion as control mechanisms
In this exhibition, Sánchez-Kane links religion and fashion, exploring how both function as systems that regulate behaviour and desire.

The materials of power
Leather belts, bronze, punching bags and flagpoles are transformed into sculptures reminiscent of sacred figures, uniforms and armour. These elements - traditionally associated with authority and discipline - are reimagined as forms of resistance, expression and liberation.
The body of Christ in a high-heeled shoe
The distorted form of Christ, which echoes the shape of a high-heeled shoe, appears throughout the exhibition. Cast in bronze and scattered throughout the church in candles, the work suggests how power and desire are inscribed in objects and bodies.

Scaffolding structure
The museographic studio LANZA Atelier has designed an environment structured with scaffolding in which the works are displayed and suspended. For Sánchez-Kane, these scaffolds function like body hair: a framework of transition between the space and the skin of the building.
Reminiscences of fashion design
Before fully immersing herself in the visual arts, Sánchez-Kane worked in fashion design, a field that continues to influence his practice. He has designed and made bespoke outfits for the space mediators at Collegium.

Diana the Huntress
Sánchez-Kane recently acquired the base of a sculpture of Diana the Huntress, which he keeps in his studio. He has created several works from it for the exhibition, including a lamp whose shape evokes the foot of the goddess in flight.
